Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 500 students
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfort adapting to changing priorities and supporting teams during transitions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and observations for students as needed
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Attend eligibility, IEP, and team meetings to support student plans
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports
- Serve as an essential resource on social-emotional and behavioral supports
This contract runs Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
