This contract position spans from August 4th through the end of December, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact while covering two consecutive maternity leaves. The role involves working closely with a dedicated staff and a diverse student body, ensuring the well-being and academic success of children in a dynamic environment.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working within a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged students
• Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 500 students
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Comfort adapting to changing priorities and supporting teams during transitions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and observations for students as needed
• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
• Attend eligibility, IEP, and team meetings to support student plans
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports
• Serve as an essential resource on social-emotional and behavioral supports

This contract runs Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
