Job Type Contract

Step into a vital role supporting students’ development as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity offers a hybrid schedule—spend four days onsite with local schools and enjoy one day each week working from home. The assignment begins January 5th and ends June 12th, with flexibility for additional days in the case of weather closures. You’ll serve a diverse community, working primarily with elementary students, with the possibility to work at the high school and even preschool level if preferred.

You’ll collaborate across three sites, maintaining an engaging and varied caseload. The typical ratio is one psychologist per 1,000 students, with the expectation of conducting around 60 initial evaluations across the academic year. This position invites you to make a meaningful difference by performing critical testing for initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and processing referrals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Washington State License for School Psychologists
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience strongly preferred; strong new graduates considered
  • Comfortable navigating caseloads and testing demands for large student populations
  • Ability to adapt to both elementary and high school settings; interest in preschool is a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and Social Security card
  • Fingerprinting will be verified in the OSI database

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Manage referrals and collaborate with school-based teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation for compliance
  • Balance onsite support with remote work as part of the hybrid model

This contract role offers:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $50-60, negotiable based on experience
  • The flexibility of a hybrid work model
  • Opportunity to interview between December 15th–19th—just let us know your availability, and we will accommodate your schedule
