Job Type Contract

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist in a collaborative educational environment. This role offers a 4:1 hybrid schedule: four days onsite and one day working remotely, encouraging a healthy work-life balance during the school year. The assignment runs from January 5th to June 12th, with potential for extra days based on weather-related closures.

You’ll primarily provide services at the elementary level while also having some involvement with high school students. There’s flexibility for those interested in working with preschool-aged children as well. With a manageable caseload—one psychologist per 1,000 students—and three dedicated sites, you will focus on testing for initial and re-evaluations, handling referrals, and managing your assigned caseload. Expect to complete approximately 60 initial evaluations throughout the school year, in addition to re-evaluations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
  • Washington State License for School Psychologists
  • Valid driver’s license and Social Security card
  • Listed in the OSI fingerprint database or willingness to complete this process
  • Over two years of relevant experience preferred (strong new grads considered)
  • Collaborative, communicative, and adaptable to onsite and remote settings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and provide testing for initial and reevaluations
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Manage and maintain accurate student case files and reports
  • Provide referral services and consult with school teams as needed

Those seeking flexibility will appreciate a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with occasional approval for up to 40 hours. Hourly compensation ranges from $50 to $60, negotiable based on experience.

If you are passionate about helping students thrive and are ready to make a positive difference, schedule an interview between December 15th and 19th. Apply today to take the next step in your school psychology career!
