This contract position offers the opportunity to provide crucial psychological services to children with a range of mild to severe disabilities, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally. Working a full-time schedule (Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day), you’ll collaborate with educators and families, ensuring comprehensive support for every student.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid Washington State certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience or strong interest in supporting diverse student populations, including those with various disabilities
  • Ability to conduct assessments, write reports, and actively participate in IEP meetings
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
  • Adaptable mindset and commitment to meeting the changing needs of students from elementary through middle school

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret evaluation results
  • Develop and assist with implementing student intervention strategies
  • Provide direct counseling and behavioral support to students as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Offer guidance to school staff and parents/guardians, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
