Key qualifications include:

  • Valid NCP license
  • Current School Psychologist certification from the Department of Education
  • Experience conducting evaluations and triennials
  • Comfortable working onsite with flexibility to complete certain tasks, such as report writing, from home (pending testing and meeting schedule)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational staff
  • Dedication to fostering a supportive environment for adolescents

Primary responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of psychological evaluations, including initial and triennial assessments for middle and high school students
  • Analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies
  • Attend eligibility, IEP, and staff meetings as required, offering expertise in student assessments and individualized education planning
  • Support the well-being of students through consultation, counseling, and implementation of evidence-based interventions
  • Maintain complete and confidential records in accordance with professional and legal standards
