Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Teaching License with an endorsement in School Psychology

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Up-to-date knowledge of current best practices and legal standards in school psychology

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer psychological and educational evaluations for students
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility for special education services
• Design and recommend evidence-based interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school
• Consult with staff and families to promote the optimal development of each student
• Maintain accurate records and comprehensive documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
