With a dedicated weekly schedule of 35-37.5 hours, you’ll have the ability to help shape student success, contribute to school communities, and support students' academic and emotional development.
Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for credentialing)
- Experience conducting psycho-educational assessments and evaluations
- Comfort working with students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Expertise in coordinating and attending IEP meetings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and willingness to manage a varied caseload—preferences for elementary, middle, or high school may be accommodated
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
- Interpret testing data to inform educational plans and interventions
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with staff and families to develop student support strategies
- Consult with teachers and administrators to help implement individualized learning and behavioral interventions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with all relevant regulations
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
