Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a dedicated school psychologist in an engaging educational environment near the Virginia Beach area. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity is set to begin on August 31, 2026, and will run through June 15, 2027. You’ll have the opportunity to support a diverse student population, working Monday through Friday, for a total of 35 hours per week. Specific assignments, caseload details, and age groups are to be determined, but flexibility in scheduling may be available.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Virginia Department of Education (DOE) licensure required
  • Valid school psychologist license for the state of Virginia
  • Experience in K-12 settings preferred
  • Must be committed to on-site work; this is not open to virtual or hybrid arrangements
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide counseling services for students
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention plans
  • Serve as a valuable resource in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
  • Offer crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district requirements
