Key Qualifications:
- Holds a master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state School Psychologist certification (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with psychological assessments, IEPs, and counseling interventions
- Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess student learning, behavior, and social-emotional well-being
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to promote student achievement and well-being
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to recommend interventions and supports
- Assist in crisis intervention and help create a safe school climate
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing case management
