This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) brings you the chance to make a tangible impact through direct involvement with two elementary schools: Blacksburg Primary and Limestone-Central.

In this role, you’ll help students reach their full potential, collaborating with school teams to promote positive outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid School Psychologist license in South Carolina
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in educational settings preferred
  • Proficiency in conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Comfortable working with diverse student populations across different age groups
  • Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students referred at assigned schools
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions, supporting positive student outcomes
  • Facilitate counseling or consultation with students as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support the Response to Intervention (RTI) process
