Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a dedicated School Psychologist supporting middle school students in a dynamic, urban setting near Chester, PA. Two full-time openings are available, both requiring a commitment to on-site, in-person service for the duration of the school year.

Key Details:

  • Full-time contract position, Monday through Friday
  • 1st Opening: 6th-8th grade caseload, 8:15am–3pm
  • 2nd Opening: ESA Middle School, includes occasional out-of-district evaluations and overflow, 8:30am–4pm
  • 35 hours weekly
  • Start date: ASAP | End date: June 10, 2027
  • Onsite work only, with no accommodation for remote/hybrid schedules

Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist certification/licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Prior experience in a school setting, specifically with evaluations and assessments
  • Proven background working within urban school environments
  • Ability to complete all required PA clearances before start date
  • Reliable transportation for daily on-site attendance
  • Comfortable engaging with diverse populations and managing dynamic caseloads
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours without accommodation

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and support to students and staff
  • Develop intervention strategies in collaboration with teams
  • Deliver clear, timely reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, focusing on student well-being and growth
  • Occasionally complete evaluations for out-of-district students as needed
