School Psychologist | Chester, Pennsylvania

Step into a dynamic, onsite role as a School Psychologist serving middle school students in a vibrant urban educational environment near Chester, PA. This contract position offers two full-time opportunities supporting the 2023-2027 school years, each focused on contributing essential evaluation and support services to students and school teams.

Two positions are available:

• The first calls for a dedicated professional to support grades 6-8 from 8:15AM-3PM.
• The second includes occasional OOD evaluations and overflow needs at a nearby middle school, working hours from 8:30AM-4PM. Both opportunities are full-time, Monday through Friday, totaling 35 hours per week. The district requires five onsite days per week, so your commitment to in-person collaboration will make a direct impact.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current and active School Psychologist certification/licensure required
• Solid background working in school settings
• Experience in urban district environments highly desired
• Must complete all necessary Pennsylvania clearances prior to starting
• Ability to work designated hours and transport yourself reliably to and from school sites
• Comfortable and adaptable to the district environment and culture
• Proficient in student evaluations and assessments

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough educational evaluations and assessments for students
• Provide professional recommendations in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary settings
• Perform onsite consultations and collaborate with staff and families
• Address occasional out-of-district (OOD) evaluations and handle overflow caseloads as assigned
