Step into an impactful role supporting middle school students’ growth and well-being while serving as a vital member of a dynamic educational team. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity focuses on direct school psychology services at a local middle school, with the chance to provide occasional out-of-district evaluations and overflow assessments.

Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a total of 35 hours per week and a contract lasting through June 10, 2027. The district requires a strong presence in person each school day—remote or hybrid options are not available.

The ideal candidate brings:

  • Active Pennsylvania certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Proven experience working in educational settings, especially urban schools
  • Expertise in conducting evaluations and psychoeducational assessments
  • Understanding of and comfort with diverse student backgrounds and district needs
  • Ability to complete and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances
  • Reliable transportation to commute to the school site
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a consistent, on-site schedule

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for middle school students
  • Providing support and consultation to teachers and school staff
  • Handling out-of-district evaluations and assertion overflow as needed
  • Participating actively in IEP meetings and educational planning sessions
  • Supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
