This role focuses solely on testing during the fall semester, with the potential for an extension.
As the School Psychologist, you will collaborate with school teams and provide critical assessment services to support student success. This is an ideal position for those who enjoy working in dynamic environments and bringing clarity to school teams through expert evaluation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Vermont School Psychologist license required
- Proven experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong background in psychoeducational testing and assessment
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and manage a structured schedule
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, focusing exclusively on testing
- Prepare detailed evaluation reports to support IEP and eligibility decisions
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents as needed
- Adhere to state guidelines and maintain confidentiality of student records
- Participate in team meetings to review assessment results
- Provide timely and accurate documentation to support student services
