Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification required
- Previous experience supporting PreK-2nd grade or Middle School students preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine students’ needs and recommend supports
- Provide direct counseling services to students, individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents on student behavior and learning
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans for academic and behavioral success
- Maintain detailed records and comply with all documentation requirements
- Support crisis intervention and prevention strategies as needed
