This is an in-person, contracted assignment conveniently located near Chicago, IL, with a schedule of three days per week, 7:40 AM–3:40 PM. Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois
  • Experience providing psychological services in school settings, particularly at the middle school level
  • Advanced understanding of student assessments, IEPs, and 504 plans
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple priorities throughout the school day

Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students
  • Participating in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing insights and recommendations
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop strategies that promote student growth
  • Delivering individual and small group counseling sessions as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation related to student services
  • Offering crisis intervention and behavioral support within the school community
