Expand your impact as a dedicated School Psychologist in the greater Chicago metropolitan area. Contract opportunities are available serving diverse student populations within multiple districts for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent fit for those skilled in providing cross-categorical services to students from early childhood through eighth grade. Please note: travel between cooperative member districts may be necessary, and assignments could be further from your home zip code.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential (Illinois PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement required)
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
  • Demonstrated experience with cross-categorical case management across EC-8th grades
  • Competency in psychoeducational assessment and data-driven intervention planning
  • Collaborative approach to working with IEP teams, educators, and families
  • Strong communication, consultation, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with learning, behavioral, or emotional needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary IEP teams and facilitate eligibility meetings
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention and support plans
  • Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student supports
  • Serve as a resource for social-emotional learning, behavior management, and crisis response
  • Travel between assigned school sites and districts as needed to fulfill service delivery
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation per district, state, and federal regulations

Work a standard school-year schedule with an approximate commitment of 35 hours per week.
