Here’s an exciting opportunity for passionate School Psychologists to make an impact during the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This full-time contract position offers the chance to work closely with students and staff across several schools in the lively Chicago, IL area. Playing a key role in student success, you’ll conduct approximately 40 evaluations annually and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from August through May.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be dynamic and rewarding. You’ll participate in domain meetings, lead comprehensive assessments, and share your insights and findings during engaging results meetings. As the designated point person, you’ll manage eligibility determinations and play an integral role in guiding student supports from assessment through reporting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K–12 educational settings
- Familiarity with conducting psychoeducational assessments
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Comfort working across multiple buildings and adapting to different school cultures
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and contribute to domain meetings
- Conduct evaluations and complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Present findings and reports at meetings with multidisciplinary teams
- Serve as the lead on eligibility determinations for special education services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
