Desired Qualifications:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience in educational settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of special education processes and laws
  • Skilled in conducting psychological assessments and evaluations
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with data analysis and educational interventions, particularly MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive special education evaluations to support appropriate student placements and services
  • Participate actively in MTSS teams, collaborating with staff on interventions and strategies to bolster student success
  • Analyze data regarding students’ academic progress and social-emotional needs, providing actionable insights for instructional adjustments
  • Prepare assessment reports and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and behavioral goals
  • Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in school psychology

This role offers consistent weekday hours, working 7:30am to 2:30pm, totaling 35 hours per week. It’s an excellent opportunity to contribute to students’ academic journeys, work closely with education professionals, and gain valuable experience in a dynamic school setting.
