Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience in educational settings preferred
- Strong understanding of special education processes and laws
- Skilled in conducting psychological assessments and evaluations
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Familiarity with data analysis and educational interventions, particularly MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive special education evaluations to support appropriate student placements and services
- Participate actively in MTSS teams, collaborating with staff on interventions and strategies to bolster student success
- Analyze data regarding students’ academic progress and social-emotional needs, providing actionable insights for instructional adjustments
- Prepare assessment reports and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and behavioral goals
- Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in school psychology
