An exciting contract opportunity awaits experienced School Psychologists in the vibrant Chicago, IL area and its surrounding communities. This role will primarily support a middle school near Franklin Park, with additional coverage at a K-2 campus. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 22, 2027, spanning the full school year. This full-time position is structured at 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

What you’ll contribute:

  • Lead and conduct student observations, initial and re-evaluations—anticipate 30-40 evaluations for the school year
  • Provide expert input and direct support for behavior intervention plans (BIPs), shaping positive outcomes for students
  • Collaborate closely with special education teams, fostering an inclusive environment through cooperative strategies
  • Split your week, spending three days at the middle school and the remainder at an early elementary (K-2) setting
  • Support a seamless student experience by carrying out responsibilities both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary group

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Psychologist endorsement is required
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing BIPs within school settings
  • Strong background collaborating with special education teams
  • Ability to manage evaluation caseload efficiently and compassionately
  • Proficient communication and organizational skills

Compensation for this role offers a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $54 to $60, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
