Key Qualifications:
- Hold valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Comfortable conducting comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
- Experience developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Skilled in counseling students, teachers, and families on learning, behavioral, and social issues
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations to determine individual learning needs and strengths
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address concerns and develop effective support plans
- Write clear reports and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Help design and support implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS)
- Maintain documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
