School Psychologist - Chicago, IL

This in-person, contract assignment calls for a dedicated professional with a strong school psychology background eager to make a measurable impact across diverse school settings.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
• Active Illinois PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement
• Minimum 2 years of school-based experience as a School Psychologist
• Proven alignment with LEARN’s Core Values, demonstrating persistence for every child’s success
• In-depth knowledge of best practices in evaluation, intervention, and special education compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Support academic and social-emotional growth by identifying, assessing, and addressing student needs impacting learning and development
• Serve as an essential member of SPED, 504, and MTSS teams, helping screen, evaluate, and develop individualized action plans for students
• Maintain 90-100% compliance with relevant special education and MTSS guidelines, documenting and reporting services within all timelines
• Act as a lead consultant regarding MTSS systems, Tier 3 intervention strategies, and progress monitoring
• Prepare and present documentation and reports for eligibility, IEP, 504, and related meetings, including coordination with outside agencies when required
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential service and collaboration records
• Share expertise and conduct training with psychology colleagues and school staff; stay current on research-based evaluation tools and practices
• Foster productive communication with families and stakeholders to address questions, provide updates, and promote understanding of developmental and learning concerns

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $85 and the opportunity to work 37.5 hours per week, managing a caseload of 60 students across two Chicago campuses.
