Job Type Contract

Bring your expertise to the elementary or middle school level in a vibrant educational environment near Chicago, IL, with two full-time contract opportunities for the 2026-2027 school year. These roles run from August 19, 2026, through May 28, 2027. As a School Psychologist, you’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team serving students in need of educational assessments and interventions.

What we’re seeking:

  • Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) and Illinois School Psychologist License (required)
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in elementary or middle school settings
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, though this is not a requirement
  • Comfortable conducting psychoeducational evaluations, re-evaluations, and initial assessments
  • Engaged communicator able to contribute within a team of educators, OT professionals, and other school psychologists

In these roles, you’ll:

  • Manage psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations, focusing your caseload based on the school's evaluation needs rather than the overall IEP population (elementary: 102, middle school: 123)
  • Deliver direct support to students, collaborating closely with other staff to ensure comprehensive care and accurate assessments
  • Participate in eligibility, intervention, and IEP meetings, providing key input on student performance and needs
  • Support an inclusive and dynamic environment that values continuous learning and professional growth

You’ll benefit from the camaraderie of an established team, including existing OT staff and fellow school psychologists for mentorship and guidance. Onsite interviews are preferred for the elementary school role, while virtual interviews are available for the middle school opportunity.

If you are driven to make a difference and ready for the next step in your career as a School Psychologist, we’d love to hear from you! Apply today to be considered for one of these rewarding positions.

Compensation for this position ranges from $44.92 to $64.92. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
