School Psychologist - Chicago, IL

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure (State of Illinois preferred)
• Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience with psychoeducational evaluations, report writing, and behavioral assessments
• Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators and families
• Capacity for cultural competence and working with diverse student populations
• Familiarity with IEPs and participating in eligibility meetings

Your Role Will Include:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify student needs, including cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments
• Interpret assessment data and communicate findings to teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct support and interventions to students, both individually and in groups
• Consult with teachers and administrators on evidence-based strategies and interventions
• Participate actively in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
• Support crisis intervention and deliver resources to promote student wellness
• Contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture
