What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid School Psychologist certification for Illinois or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience in K-12 settings, including assessment, intervention, and consultation
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations (cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments)
  • Strong skills in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Knowledge of IEP development and special education regulations
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Adaptability, cultural competence, and a genuine commitment to student well-being

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
  • Provide direct support, counseling, and crisis intervention to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective strategies for diverse learners
  • Contribute to multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
  • Write detailed reports and participate in IEP meetings, helping to design and monitor individualized plans
  • Promote and implement interventions that foster resilience, social skills, and positive school climate
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and participate in ongoing professional development
