Make an impact in the 26/27 school year by providing essential psychological services to students in an educational setting. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August through May, serving multiple buildings in the Cicero, IL area. Your expertise as a School Psychologist will support students and staff by offering comprehensive assessments and collaborating on eligibility determinations.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current School Psychologist certification or licensure (as required by the state)
  • Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Prior experience in school-based psychological evaluation and assessment
  • Strong knowledge of special education eligibility criteria
  • Ability to travel between multiple buildings as needed
  • Excellent communication, organization, and meeting facilitation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct approximately 40 evaluations annually, distributing services across multiple school buildings
  • Participate in domain meetings to plan and coordinate student assessments
  • Complete thorough and timely psychological assessments for referred students
  • Present results and detailed reports at eligibility and team meetings
  • Navigate all steps of the eligibility process, ensuring compliance with school and state policies
  • Collaborate closely with special education staff, administrators, and families to support student needs
