Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Must hold a valid School Psychologist credential/license.
- Previous experience working in K-12 education settings is highly valued.
- Skilled in administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfortable handling a caseload of approximately 40 evaluations annually.
- Capable of working collaboratively across multiple school campuses.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct domain meetings and complete student assessments in accordance with school and district guidelines.
- Communicate findings, results, and recommendations during scheduled meetings, collaborating closely with educational teams and families.
- Complete all eligibility determinations as the school psychologist, following best practices and legal requirements.
- Prepare detailed, timely assessment reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Work seamlessly with special education teams to support students’ learning and emotional needs.
- Balance responsibilities effectively across several schools, providing continuity and expert support throughout the academic year (August through May).
