Key Qualifications:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist License
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued, though not mandatory
- Previous experience in K-8 educational settings is advantageous
Elementary School Role Highlights:
- Focus on conducting psychoeducational evaluations, re-evaluations, and a select number of initial evaluations
- Engage primarily with a population of 102 IEP students, while the active psychologist caseload is distributed among the existing team
- Collaborate closely with established OT staff and additional psychologists for consultation and support
- Preferred interview format: onsite
Middle School Role Highlights:
- Assignments focus on re-evaluations and evaluation-driven caseloads
- Work with a total IEP population of 123 students, with practical caseload determined by current evaluation requirements
- Opportunities to interact with multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Interview process can be completed virtually
