Step into a dynamic role supporting students' success as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational community near Cicero, IL. In this position, you’ll primarily be assigned to one campus, with the flexibility to float and support other schools across the district as needed in locations including Forest Park, Oak Park, Bellwood, and Maywood. The district values commitment and collaboration, making it an ideal setting for a dedicated School Psychologist to thrive and build meaningful connections with students and staff.

Applicants with an RN and BSN will be given priority, especially those interested in blending clinical expertise with mental and behavioral health support. Experience as a School Psychologist or a strong interest in school-based psychology is essential; those with a CSN bring even more value to the team.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement or equivalent school psychologist credentials
  • Experience working within a K-12 setting preferred
  • RN with BSN background highly preferred
  • Ability to support several campuses if circumstances require
  • Strong skills in assessment, consultation, crisis intervention, and counseling

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Deliver counseling and intervention services to students
  • Monitor student progress and provide ongoing support
