Key Qualifications:

  • Current NY School Psychologist certification required
  • Experience chairing CSE or CPSE meetings is highly valued
  • Skilled in a range of psychoeducational assessments
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Prior experience working in K-2 or elementary school settings is preferred

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments and interpret results for families and faculty
  • Chair Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings, facilitating collaboration between teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Participate in and, as needed, lead CPSE meetings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective IEPs
  • Provide expert consultation on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports
  • Engage in regular communication with staff and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance
