Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in an educational setting strongly preferred
- Expertise in psychological assessment, intervention planning, and report writing
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with faculty, families, and school teams
- Understanding of diverse student backgrounds and commitment to best practices in culturally responsive care
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student learning and mental wellness
- Provide direct counseling and behavioral interventions as appropriate
- Lead crisis intervention efforts and serve as a resource for mental health matters within the school
