In this engaging contract opportunity, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting student well-being as an onsite School Psychologist. Serve a vibrant community near Circle Pines, MN by conducting comprehensive evaluations, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, and taking a hands-on approach in functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Monthly hours range from 30 to 50, offering flexibility to match your professional and personal commitments.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience conducting student evaluations and assessments in educational settings
  • Strong background collaborating with staff and parents to support student learning and behavior
  • Proficiency in implementing FBAs and creating effective BIPs
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with educational laws and ethical standards relevant to school psychology

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret a variety of cognitive, academic, social, and behavioral assessments
  • Actively engage in the development and implementation of FBAs and BIPs for students
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
  • Participate in team meetings, closely consulting with administrators, teachers, and families
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all assessments, reports, and communications
  • Offer ongoing consultation to staff on student progress and best practices
