Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential
  • Previous experience working with elementary (TK-5) age groups strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for diverse learners
  • Skilled in collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assessments and tasks effectively
  • Compassionate communicator with commitment to inclusive education environments

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students in a variety of SDC and learning support settings
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to design and monitor targeted interventions
  • Support social-emotional learning initiatives and positive behavior interventions
  • Serve as a resource for families and staff regarding students’ academic and behavioral needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school and state regulations
