School Psychologist - Clarion, Iowa

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with children and adolescent populations in a school environment
• Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to develop evidence-based interventions and support plans
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to maintaining professional and ethical standards
• Comfortable working onsite (no virtual/remote assignments)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations for students
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Develop and implement individualized intervention and support plans
• Provide counseling services for students facing personal, social, or academic challenges
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and help shape appropriate educational strategies
• Deliver training and resources to staff and families
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and reports as required
