Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience in conducting psycho-educational evaluations and interpreting assessment results
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Strong collaboration and consultation skills with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to promoting positive behavioral interventions and mental health awareness in schools
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Provide consultation to teachers and administrators regarding student behavior and learning
- Participate as an active member of multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and recommend evidence-based interventions to address students’ academic and behavioral needs
- Facilitate crisis intervention and support the social-emotional well-being of students
- Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidential records
