School Psychologist - Clawson, MI

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist to support students in an elementary setting near Clawson, MI. You’ll have the rewarding experience of working with a diverse student body of 540 elementary-aged children across three closely located sites (two non-public), all within a two-mile radius. The role is primarily full-time and in-person, but qualified candidates interested in a consistent part-time schedule of three days per week will also be considered. The position is set to begin on August 24th.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid School Psychologist certification
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and administrators
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to travel between three nearby locations as needed
• Knowledge of best practices in educational and psychological assessments

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, evaluations, and counseling
• Participate in IEP meetings and help develop data-based interventions
• Work collaboratively with teachers and families to support student success
• Provide crisis intervention and evidence-based mental health support
• Contribute to the development of inclusive educational environments
• Offer ongoing consultation and guidance to staff regarding behavioral and academic strategies
• Maintain thorough documentation and records in compliance with school standards
