Per Diem School Psychologist - Clemson, SC

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial evaluations and reevaluations, including psychoeducational, social-emotional, behavioral, adaptive behavior, executive functioning, and autism-related assessments.
• Review relevant educational records, performance data, teacher input, and parent information to determine assessment needs.
• Select and employ appropriate assessment tools, documenting the justification for each instrument used.
• Complete psychological evaluations within 30 calendar days upon receipt of parental consent, providing comprehensive written reports within one week of testing.
• Participate in eligibility meetings (virtually or in person) to present findings and make informed recommendations.
• Liaise with Special Education Services, school staff, and families to coordinate schedules and ensure efficient assessment logistics.
• Maintain student confidentiality, follow all district protocols, and provide necessary assessment materials.
• Ensure that written parental consent is secured before assessments commence.

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Department of Education School Psychologist Certification (Level I, II, or III)
• Master’s, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Prior school-based evaluation experience is preferred
• Strong written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent at managing timelines independently and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
