Make a meaningful difference as a School Psychologist serving elementary students on a contract, full-time basis (35 hours per week). This itinerant role provides the opportunity to work across several school settings, collaborating with dedicated educators and staff to empower young learners and their families.
What’s Needed:
- Current New Jersey School Psychologist Certification
- School-based evaluation experience
- Familiarity with developing goals and supports within IEPs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to navigate varied school environments as part of itinerant service
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct psychological and academic evaluations for elementary students
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and input to inform individualized supports
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student progress, strategies, and interventions
- Develop and recommend evidence-based interventions to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally
- Support school teams with crisis intervention, prevention programs, and progress monitoring
Eligible candidates in this contract position receive competitive compensation, ranging from $55 to $62 per hour.
