Key Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina School Psychologist credential
- Experience with evaluations for Special Education eligibility
- Competence in assessing Specific Learning Disabilities using the PSW model
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt to dynamic school environments and evolving district needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time, onsite psychological services from now until the end of the school year
- Conduct timely and comprehensive assessments to determine students’ eligibility for special education services
- Engage in the evaluation process for a diverse range of academic and behavioral needs utilizing evidence-based practices
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic, emotional, and social growth
- Maintain clear documentation and participate in the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in virtual interviews and ongoing district meetings as required
