Key Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina School Psychologist credential
• Experience with evaluations for Special Education eligibility
• Competence in assessing Specific Learning Disabilities using the PSW model
• Proficiency in conducting evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt to dynamic school environments and evolving district needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide full-time, onsite psychological services from now until the end of the school year
• Conduct timely and comprehensive assessments to determine students’ eligibility for special education services
• Engage in the evaluation process for a diverse range of academic and behavioral needs utilizing evidence-based practices
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic, emotional, and social growth
• Maintain clear documentation and participate in the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in virtual interviews and ongoing district meetings as required
