Key Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina School Psychologist License required
  • Previous experience in school-based psychological services strongly preferred
  • Competency in conducting comprehensive evaluations for Special Education eligibility
  • Proficiency in assessing Specific Learning Disability using the PSW model, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD
  • Ability to communicate assessment results effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to ethical practices and ongoing professional development

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-time, onsite psychological services from now through the end of the school year
  • Conduct thorough evaluations for students referred for special education eligibility
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop effective interventions and recommendations
  • Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP processes, and provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain detailed records and adhere to all state and federal guidelines
