Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological evaluations for special education eligibility—including assessments for Specific Learning Disability using the PSW model, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD.
  • Partner closely with educators, administrators, and families to create safe, inclusive, and productive learning environments.
  • Participate actively in eligibility and review meetings, presenting clear, insightful recommendations tailored to each student’s unique needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Engage in collaborative problem-solving and contribute to a team-focused atmosphere.
  • Be available full-time, onsite, throughout the academic term.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid South Carolina School Psychologist License.
  • Prior experience within a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in conducting an array of psychological, behavioral, and educational assessments.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively to students, families, and staff.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
