Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time position begins August 25 and continues through June 18, serving an elementary-level caseload of approximately 50-60 students. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week in a collaborative school environment, helping students achieve their best academically and emotionally. If you prefer part-time work, your application will also be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
  • Valid or eligible School Psychologist certification/license in Michigan
  • Experience with elementary student populations preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation abilities
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, special education eligibility, and MTSS/RTI frameworks

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Provide individual and group counseling as needed
  • Deliver crisis intervention and behavioral support
  • Consult on academic and behavioral interventions, developing strategies tailored to students’ needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
