As a School Psychologist, you’ll work 37.5 hours each week in a supportive educational environment, collaborating with teachers and staff to promote positive student outcomes.
This contract position centers on providing essential psychological services to elementary-aged students. Day-to-day, you’ll conduct student evaluations, participate actively in IEP meetings, and carry out classroom observations. Your expertise will directly influence the success of students and help shape individualized support strategies that make a real difference.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Ohio School Psychologist certification
- Training and experience in school psychology practices
- Familiarity with conducting student assessments and psychological evaluations
- Comfort collaborating in a multidisciplinary team, especially during IEP meetings
- Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families
Essential Responsibilities:
- Complete thorough evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as part of the student support team
- Provide insightful classroom observations to inform educational planning
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to design interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
