School Psychologist in Colchester, VT

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Vermont School Psychologist license is required
• Proven experience in the identification and evaluation of learning disabilities
• Solid background in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting their results
• Comfortable managing a comprehensive evaluation caseload (50-60 evaluations annually)
• Ability to effectively support both elementary and secondary student populations
• Strong communication skills with the capacity to engage with educators, administrators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments and provide recommendations tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective interventions and supports
• Review educational records, participate in eligibility meetings, and generate clear, detailed reports
• Support the development and progress of students with learning differences
• Offer consultation services to teachers, parents, and other school professionals
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations relevant to the evaluation process
