Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students K-12 as a School Psychologist in the Colorado Springs area. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with district staff and play a key part in helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. You’ll join a supportive school environment and engage deeply with students, teachers, and families through direct onsite service.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience with evaluations and assessments in a K-12 setting
- Strong understanding of MTSS, RTI, and special education processes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interface with educators, parents, and administration
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adapt to changing needs within the school environment
- Comfort with conducting face-to-face assessments; remote or hybrid options are not available for this role
Responsibilities:
- Deliver full-time, onsite psychological services (37.5 hours per week) during the school year
- Administer cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments for students
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations based on data and best practices
- Support crisis management and intervention planning as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
