Step into an impactful school-based position supporting K-12 students in the Colorado Springs area for the 2024-2025 academic year! As a full-time, contract School Psychologist, you will be instrumental in fostering student wellbeing and academic success across a diverse range of grade levels.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist licensure (or eligibility) in Colorado
  • Experience working with K-12 students in an educational or clinical setting
  • Strong assessment, testing, and evaluation skills
  • Proficiency in report writing and interpreting assessment results
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and parents
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret psychological and academic assessments for students across all grade levels
  • Develop clear, insightful written reports to support educational planning and interventions
  • Collaborate with instructional staff and families to identify student needs and appropriate supports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input to multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide expertise in best practices for student mental health, learning, and behavioral supports
  • Engage with a variety of school communities within the district as needed
  • Utilize a district-provided laptop to efficiently conduct assessments and documentation
