Contract Details:

• Start Date: July 27, 2026
• End Date: May 21, 2027
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
• Caseload: Approximately 40 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) per school, focusing on consultation and evaluation rather than direct therapy
• Age Group: Elementary School

Qualifications:

• Valid school psychologist certification or licensure, or the eligibility to obtain one within the state
• Previous experience in school psychology, preferably with elementary-aged children
• Strong understanding of the IEP process and special education compliance
• Expertise in conducting educational and psychological assessments
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and consultation skills
• Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with special education teams and classroom educators
• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and share findings to inform IEP teams
• Support teachers, counselors, and administrators with best practices in student accommodations and interventions
• Consult with families and staff regarding student progress and individualized services
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing insights for student-centered planning
• Monitor and help maintain documentation in compliance with regulations
