Contract Details:
- Start Date: July 27, 2026
- End Date: May 21, 2027
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Approximately 40 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) per school, focusing on consultation and evaluation rather than direct therapy
- Age Group: Elementary School
Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure, or the eligibility to obtain one within the state
- Previous experience in school psychology, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Strong understanding of the IEP process and special education compliance
- Expertise in conducting educational and psychological assessments
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and consultation skills
- Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with special education teams and classroom educators
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and share findings to inform IEP teams
- Support teachers, counselors, and administrators with best practices in student accommodations and interventions
- Consult with families and staff regarding student progress and individualized services
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing insights for student-centered planning
- Monitor and help maintain documentation in compliance with regulations
