Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure for the state
• Experience working within K-12 educational settings
• Familiarity with conducting initial evaluations and assessments (approximately 40 expected)
• Ability to develop and implement individualized support plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Must be able to provide services on-site and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations for K-12 students, identifying strengths and areas of need
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to tailor interventions and develop effective strategies
• Support the creation and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all evaluations and reports are completed within timely deadlines
• Provide consultation and counseling to students, staff, and families as needed
• Foster a safe and inclusive school atmosphere that supports student learning and well-being
