To excel in this role, you will need:

• Maryland certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience conducting student evaluations, developing intervention strategies, and contributing to IEP teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff
• Capacity to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic school setting
• Familiarity with best practices in psychological assessment, consultation, and crisis intervention

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs
• Participating in IEP meetings and providing expert recommendations for academic and social-emotional development
• Consulting with teachers and parents on strategies to support student success
• Delivering individual and group counseling for children and adolescents
• Assisting with behavioral interventions and supporting positive school climate initiatives
