School Psychologist in Columbia, MD

This contract opportunity features three full-time openings, with a flexible schedule available—choose between full-time at 33.75 hours per week or part-time, covering 3-4 days weekly. You'll work onsite Monday through Friday, from 7:25 a.m. to 2:40 p.m., collaborating with faculty, families, and students in a dynamic middle school environment near Columbia, MD.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a School Psychologist in Maryland
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to perform assessments, develop recommendations, and provide counseling services
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student growth
• Deliver direct counseling services to students as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of student plans
• Support interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
