This contract opportunity features three full-time openings, with a flexible schedule available—choose between full-time at 33.75 hours per week or part-time, covering 3-4 days weekly. You'll work onsite Monday through Friday, from 7:25 a.m. to 2:40 p.m., collaborating with faculty, families, and students in a dynamic middle school environment near Columbia, MD.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a School Psychologist in Maryland
- Experience working with middle school students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to perform assessments, develop recommendations, and provide counseling services
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student growth
- Deliver direct counseling services to students as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of student plans
- Support interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
