School Psychologist | Columbia, Maryland

Make a difference in a vibrant middle school environment as a School Psychologist supporting students near Columbia, MD! There are three full-time, onsite contract openings available, with a weekly schedule of 33.75 hours (Monday through Friday, 7:25am-2:40pm). Flexible part-time options are possible for those interested in working 3-4 days per week.

Skills & Requirements:

• Certification as a School Psychologist in Maryland is required
• Previous experience in a school setting (middle school preferred)
• Expertise in assessment, student counseling, and behavioral intervention
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with students, teachers, and families
• Proven documentation, progress monitoring, and report-writing abilities
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational and behavioral intervention plans
• Provide counseling services to students individually and in groups
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student well-being
• Serve as an advocate for students' emotional and academic needs
• Participate in IEP, 504, and team meetings to support students
