Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or related field)
  • Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and special education procedures
  • Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results for IEP team decision making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings and recommendations effectively
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with students, staff, and parents

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral needs through testing and observation
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services tailored to individual and group needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding strategies to support student success and well-being
  • Deliver professional development to staff on relevant topics, such as classroom behavior management and crisis response
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to promote best outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines
