Step into a vital role supporting student success as a school psychologist on-site or virtually. This contract position—full-time at 37.5 hours per week—spans the 2026-2027 academic year and offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team making a meaningful difference. You’ll provide direct assessment, counseling, and consultation to help foster positive academic and behavioral outcomes for students.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology
  • Minimum two years experience as a school psychologist intern (or equivalent education/training)
  • Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
  • Strong computer skills for assessments, reporting, and data management
  • Ability to engage with students and adults from diverse backgrounds, adapting communication for maximum impact
  • Capable of sitting, standing, and light lifting (up to 10 lbs.)
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations; score tests and prepare clear, detailed reports
  • Share results with parents, teachers, and school teams, participating in IEP meetings and special education eligibility reviews
  • Provide individual and group mental health counseling to students
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and outside agencies to promote student well-being and learning
  • Participate in crisis intervention, consult on behavioral interventions, and help lead multi-disciplinary student assessment teams
  • Attend ongoing professional development; maintain current knowledge of relevant laws and best practices
  • Maintain student records, documentation, and correspondence per policy standards
