In this contract role, you will focus on special education evaluations, working closely with staff and families across three buildings to ensure each student receives the support they deserve. Your expertise will guide eligibility determinations and maintain compliance with educational standards, allowing students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Indiana School Psychologist license required
  • Background in psychoeducational assessments and eligibility evaluations preferred
  • Thorough understanding of special education regulations and compliance
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills for engaging with staff and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and conduct approximately 70 special education evaluations annually
  • Provide support across three school buildings, tailoring approaches to student and building-specific needs
  • Collaborate in monthly team meetings to review cases and share strategies
  • Maintain detailed, compliant documentation and reports
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for special education processes, counseling, and best practices
  • Report directly to the district supervisor and help facilitate a supportive, inclusive educational environment

Schedule & Setting:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
  • Onsite role supporting K-12 students
