Step into a vital role as an onsite School Psychologist, supporting the educational community near Columbus, IN. In this contract position, your expertise will be key to facilitating special education evaluations and collaborating closely with school staff and families to help students flourish. Enjoy a structured weekday schedule, working Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, providing services within three different school buildings.

Key Qualifications:

• An active Indiana School Psychologist license is required
• Prior experience administering psychoeducational assessments and making eligibility determinations is highly valued
• Comprehensive understanding of special education law and compliance
• Effective communication and collaboration skills when partnering with educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct approximately 70 special education evaluations annually across three different sites
• Engage in comprehensive assessments, eligibility determinations, and detailed reporting to support student educational plans
• Regularly participate in monthly team meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to review cases and strategize student support
• Ensure that evaluation processes and documentation consistently meet state and district special education requirements
• Report directly to the district supervisor, keeping administration informed of progress and ongoing needs
