Play a key role in supporting students’ emotional, academic, and social growth as a contract School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to create a positive impact in a diverse educational environment near Columbus, OH. You’ll have the chance to use your expertise to partner with educators, families, and administrators to promote student success and well-being.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification in Ohio
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Experience working with school-age children in academic, behavioral, or emotional assessment and intervention
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and special education procedures
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Provide direct interventions and support services to students individually and in group settings
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and related service providers to create effective strategies that enhance student learning
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise regarding eligibility and programming decisions
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records according to ethical and legal standards
  • Offer crisis intervention and facilitate referrals to external mental health resources as needed
