In this dynamic position, you’ll engage with a diverse caseload of approximately 105 students in Exceptional Children programs, actively collaborating with educators and families to foster positive student outcomes. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Adept at conducting psychological assessments, testing, and evaluations
- Strong understanding of referral processes and IEP documentation
- Confident in leading and participating in IEP meetings
- Effective at conducting classroom observations and collaborating with staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assessments and interventions for students in the Exceptional Children’s program
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents within the MTSS framework
- Conduct and interpret a variety of psychological and educational assessments
- Participate in and help facilitate referral and eligibility processes
- Lead and document IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and advocacy for student needs
- Provide actionable recommendations following classroom observations
